Terms of Service

By commissioning or purchasing with me, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
GENERAL TOS
- Terms & Prices: These are subject to change at any time. You are only subject to the ToS and prices agreed upon at the time of your transaction.
- Right of Refusal: I reserve the right to reject a commission for any reason.
- Communication: I may be unavailable on holidays, scheduled days off, or during emergencies. If you don't hear back within 7 days, feel free to resend your message. Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle!
- Digital Delivery: All digital artwork is transferred via a Dropbox folder.
- Non-communication Policy: If a client fails to respond to approval requests or provide info within 14 days, the project will move to the end of the queue. After 30 days of no contact with the client, the commission will be archived as incomplete with no refund issued.
PROCESSING & REFERENCES
- Process Time: My estimated processing time begins only after I have received all finalized references and a full description of your request.
- Active Queue: If you pay before your references are ready, your project will not enter the active work queue until all materials are received.
- Reference Deadlines: If references aren't provided within 14 days of payment, your project may be paused or moved to the back of the queue.
- Timeline Estimates: Processing times are approximate and not guaranteed. Delays in communication or finalizing references will extend your processing time.
USAGE POLICY & AI
- Personal Use Only: my art is not for commercial use (reselling, business branding, or any for-profit ventures, etc.). You may create personal items (invitations, shirts, prints) for your own private use or sharing on social media/online.
- No Alterations: You may not edit, crop, recolor, or modify the artwork. This includes a strict ban on tracing, using the art as a "base," or applying social media/AI filters.
- Generative AI: You are strictly prohibited from using any of my artwork or website images to train or prompt Generative AI models. Doing so will result in a permanent blacklist and ban.
- Credit & Sharing: I reserve the right to post my artwork; if you want yours kept private, please note this at checkout. When sharing publicly, you are required to credit Hops & Bean .co.
- Other Prohibitions: you may not use the artwork in any way for NFT’s, and you may not claim the artwork as your own.
REVISIONS
- Minor Revisions: Each commission includes 3 rounds of minor tweaks (color adjustments, small details) before final approval. Extra rounds can be purchased for $3 each.
- Major Changes: I work directly from your references that you provide. Requests for a new pose, different clothing, or a different pet after work is presented will incur a "Restart Fee" (equivalent to a new commission). This fee is waived if the error was mine.
- Post-Approval: Once final approval is given and files are delivered, the project is closed. No further changes can be made unless purchased as add-ons from Hops & Bean .co.
REFUNDS & PHYSICAL PRODUCTS
- Refund Policy: Full refunds are only available if work has not started. Once started, if cancelled, only a partial refund is issued based on work completed. No refunds once artwork is finished or approved.
- Chargebacks: If a client disputes a charge, I will no longer accept future commissions or purchases.
- Physical Items: Refunds only apply to items damaged due to our error. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos.
- Shipping Issues: For items lost or damaged by the carrier, we will assist you in filing a claim with USPS/UPS. Resolutions are subject to the carrier’s decision.
Note: Violating these terms may result in a complete shop ban and/or order cancellation.
